About Me

​Victoria "Tori" van Leeuwen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who utilizes evidence-based treatments to work effectively with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, non-suicidal self-injury, and suicidality. She uses an authentic approach to create a safe and supportive environment that invites increasing insight, acceptance of what is, and motivation for change. Tori obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from George Mason University and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. Tori has worked in varying levels of care including schools, foster care, hospice, residential treatment, and emergency services. She has completed specific training for Maudsley Model Family based Treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to include foundational training in DBT.
